Describe what you make or sell?
By the style of needle felting, little animals such as rabbits, cats and penguins are shaped and created. This process includes stabbing a needle through merino or roving wool which tightens up the wool into a creature. Each cute animal is 100% homemade and worth all the accidental pricks in the hand.
What inspires you to make what you sell? ~ OR ~ What are you most proud of making?
I am most proud when each of my creatures are finished. I find that they take on a personality all on their own. It is sad knowing that they won't be in my possession once I sell one of them but I realized that is part of the reason I do sell them. It is inspiring to know that something I have created will live and stay in someone else's home. Every one of my little critters needs a special place to stay.
Is there anything else you'd like people to know?
I would like people to know that my products are made with joy and they come from a happy place in my heart. When I create, I do it for the art and the creativity. The rewarding part is seeing other people who enjoy what I put out.
If you could travel far far away, where would you go right now?
I would like to travel to Iceland because the culture there is very quaint and inspiring. Eventually I would love to travel to New Orleans as well for the jazz and food.
