Describe what you make or sell?

Everything I make is made with wire in some form or fashion. It is an 'expression' of my creativity, and then it becomes an expression for the person who wears it, uses it or gives it away. I do all my work by sight without the aid of a jig, which I believe gives me more freedom to get things perfect! I make a combination of sterling silver jewellery and unique functional gift items, which include things like Tea Bag Steepers, Ornaments Hangers, Bookmarks, Key Finder Keychains, Suction Cup Glass Charms and various other personalized items. 

 

What are you most proud of making?

I'm most proud of my 'Lovely Locks Pendant'.  My young daughter used to have perfect curls (till I cut her hair and they disappeared - sigh), this pendant reminds me of her curls, and was a turning point with my wire work technique where I began using a hammer which gives a completely different look to many pieces. I'm also quite proud of my wire writting, which now enables me to personalize items to make special unique gifts for people.

 

Is there anything else you'd like people to know?

I'm a wife and a mom. Aside from wire work, I love to sew, travel, play board games, bike and camp with my family. I'm fortunate to stay home with my kids, and Wire Expressions gives me an outlet for my creativity, and helps to pay for my travel hobby!

 

If you could travel far far away, where would you go right now?

Holland, Switzerland, Italy...just get me on an airplane anywhere with old history, I have an itch to travel right now!
