Describe what you make or sell?

I am a Potter creating ceramic buttons, mugs, dishes and beads! I make beautiful jewelry from my handmade ceramic beads that are very unique. I am also a soap maker and make cold pressed soap and bath products.

 

What inspires you to make what you sell? ~ OR ~ What are you most proud of making?

I am inspired to make my own products, be it a bowl, the food I eat, the jewelry I wear or the soap I use! If I can make it myself I do. I am inspired by those who homestead and depend on only themselves to provide for their family. This itself inspires me to create with my own hands. Nature also inspires me, many of my pieces begin with an experience, picture, or animal from the forest. At the moment I am most proud of my handmade mugs that bring joy to everyone first thing in the morning with their favorite cup of coffee!

 

Is there anything else you'd like people to know?

I am meticulous when I create something! It has to be just right or I go back and do it again! Is this a blessing or a curse? I love to make quality pieces that are special, so special they are hard to give away or sell. Then you know you have made something great! I also make upcycled scrabble tile Jewelry using many of my own photos and other images. I love to garden, camp with my family, crochet, and photography! If I am not creating something, you can find me in the forest or at the lake!

 

If you could travel far far away, where would you go right now?

I love Canada! I think I would go to either coast to explore what I haven't seen before!
