Describe what you make or sell?

Our products are handmade crafts designed for functional home decor with a modern aesthetic. Typically utilizing high quality hardwoods such as maple, walnut and paduk, everything is made in a workshop located in downtown Calgary. Some examples of our products include lightbox lamps, cutting boards, headphone stands, and catch-all trays

 

What inspires you to make what you sell? ~ OR ~ What are you most proud of making?

Woodworking is an amazing way to both connect with nature through design. I am continuously inspired by wood's flexibility to become anything from a purely visual art piece to a highly functional product, which allows the imagination to wander boundlessly. In addition, the contrast between power and hand tools allows for a both exciting and meditative process. Most importantly, the rare opportunity to collaborate together with my fiancée and share a sense of accomplishment is the greatest inspiration of all.

 

Is there anything else you'd like people to know?

Since everything is handcrafted, note that any product we sell is customizable. If you see a product you want in a specific wood combination, just ask us! We typically alternate between three main woods - maple, walnut and padauk with a hint of baltic birch.
